Hello wJunction, I'd love some thoughts on my new website.

PlugRoll.net is a video sharing website that will pay users to import & share youtube/daily motion videos.

Basically you can sign up and import a video instantly from youtube and than share it on social media or embed it on your website and make money.

Here's how it works.

Once signed into your account go to the monetization tab:

It's disabled by default, simply enable it:

Step 2: Import Videos & Share

Now simply paste any youtube link into the bar you want to share.

Let me know what you think of the idea/concept.

I like the idea :)

You need a lot of ads to pay members

The question is : why people would come to your site if it is on youtube "the same thing"

Site looks good but seem it has less videos, more categoreis are empty.

You manually post or automatically post videos from Youtube or Vimeo?

Well, later on we're going to implement openload.co importing for videos as well.
Also i want to allow uploading videos as well, so people can also upload movies etc.

That's in the future though.

I think blogs can use the website, for example buzzfeed style blogs that post videos. Instead of embeding a random youtube video if they import the video to plugroll and embed plugroll they'll make ad revenue.

Right now it's all manual. However we have importing scripts, i'm just not running them. (Yet.)

But what happens if someone puts video with millions of views from youtube
Don't you get complaints from the owners?

Well I could always make a DMCA process. But most people won't complain, they still get views on youtube since w'ere just embeding videos.
