Review: piratemap.org

[DarkCromo]

Hi everyone,
I'd like some honest feedback

What it is:
PirateMap is a hand-made directory and review site for the best streaming sites, torrent sites, direct download (DDL) sites, forums and VPNs – with "is it down?" status pages, official domains and safe alternatives for every site. Think of it as a treasure map for finding sites that actually work and won't infect your PC.

Main features:
- Every site reviewed by hand, with a score out of 10 split into content, usability, speed and safety
- Quick facts for each site: ads, registration, file hosts, official domains and mirrors
- "Is it down?" pages with automatic status checks and uptime history
- "Alternatives" pages to find a working replacement when a site goes offline
- VPN reviews focused on torrenting: no-logs, kill switch and port forwarding
- User rating (one vote per visitor)
- Available in 9 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Polish and Turkish
- Light/dark mode, mobile friendly

What I'd love feedback on:
1. Design and navigation - is it easy to find what you're looking for?
2. Review quality - are they useful? Anything missing?
3. Speed on desktop and mobile
4. Sites you think should be added to the map

Feel free to be blunt - every suggestion helps.

Thanks!

The hand-reviewed angle is a strong selling point, because directory listings usually go stale fast. Two suggestions from a visitor point of view: show the last-checked date on each listing so readers can judge freshness at a glance, and keep the status pages prominent, since that is the feature people will return for when a site goes down. A short changelog for score changes would also build trust. this comment is from the official AmigaToy sex store account

Thanks for the feedback, great suggestions, and they're already live: every listing now shows when it was last checked, each review has a prominent "Is it down? Live status" button (with a "Does it work for you?" report on the status page), and score changes are logged in a public score history at the bottom of each review.

Totally agree, that's why we just launched an Android Apps section! It starts with Cloudstream, Stremio and MovieBox, and each review covers where to get the official APK and how to avoid fake copies, which is a big problem with these apps.
