Well Its a simple made image hosting site. It isn't finished just yet, we've got alot more work to do.

But I just wanna hear some of your opinions about it or what changes are needed or additional things added.

All comments are welcomed.

Site url is http://gfxbucket.net

Hey,

Great idea for the website and I like the layout for it too. It's simple and easy to navigate through. I have a few suggestions that might improve your usage and audience towards this website.

1)Make a more appealing or shall I say unique logo/banner or even a header image. Add some colors in there, but not to much, maybe only add different colors for the logo and by logo I mean, the little image that would represent the name. And have the GfxBucket in the colors that the site uses.

2)You might want to switch the color for the navigation. Instead of the spacer "|" having the white color and the text the grey while its in its unhovered state, let the "|" be grey and the text white, and just gets a very very slight grey.

3)As for the body, I know there is a lot of "white space" that you can utilize. Show off some social features or tools your website may have in the form of images and you can have on the left and one on the right. As for the remote and local buttons, you can make them over to go along with the other buttons on the site, just to have an easy flow through the website.

That's pretty much what I can suggest from what I see, all you can do now is just get rid of that tracker image at the bottom and use one where it's invisible. Or if you want you can still use that but if it has like javascript code, just use that and keep the url to the stats to yourself. I don't think regular people need and would want to see those stats.

Good luck with the site, and please one advise, refrain from going over to using ads to "support your server costs". Don't ever do that with an image host that just starts because it wouldn't have been worth it in the beginning to start a image hosting when you will have to depend on ads.

You don't even use it on your own page? Just checked freshswap.net.
None of the links are working.
If you're still around in three years, I may consider relying on your service. But for now... finish it up first and earn your user's trust.

Until then there are better image hosts out there which have proven to be stable over the last years. imagenic, imageshack, tinypic, pic.leech.it, casimages, abload...

You're still working on it so hopefully we'll see some killer features soon which make your page stand out from the crowd.
