Reputation, thanks, both or nothing?

Thanks is the best, I think rep system is not good because there is too much haters around and they can abuse this (anonymous) system

The thing is that everything can and will be abused. It does not matter what it is, but there are always idiots who will abuse things.

We have the ability to see who gives you good and or bad rep. I can check if there is a rep you are curious to know. Personally I do not think there should be a secret/anonymous.

Yes but this idiots will not give you "Thanks" and with "Rep system" they can lower your "reputation" from any reason or just for their stupidity satisfaction ... X-(

It does not go to prove a thing so it is useless to have.

I'd vote for nothing, but if I had to pick one, I'd pick rep. Stupid post get the majority of rep/thanks that just shouldn't get it. Which makes it pointless to have and measures nothing at all. Waste of database space.

But is it necessary to give negative reputation too? Can not we just stick to the positivity? Negative things should be reported to a moderator immediately.
