Remove filehost section from recent posts

Ok im not going to request something stupid like remove the filehosts sections and ban/delete/rape cash whores although that would be nice i cant see it happening

But could we please stop the filehost section from showing in the recent posts box at least

Reason?

1. They make up the majority of this forum nowadays and most of them spam topics like "tnx 4 paymetz" and the recent topics box just fills up with crappy "Discussion topics", most of the good topics i come here to read get pushed out the recent topics box fairly quickly.


2.They don't care about the rest of the forum so its not like they need it most of them just smash the f5 button with their fat cubby butter filled fingers on their section every second anyway, Look at this:

Most of the other forums 18 people max im sure you can see this would create a spam problem.

If not then rename wjunction to fjunction and remove "webmaster hangout" and replace it with "Butter Fingers Hangout" as im struggling to find any good info related to webmasters any more.

I also do agree with you, For this many good posts not getting attention of viewers!

And many many filehosts are coming...ppl keep commenting on those thread, it will b great if this step would take asap.

Who has made you "King" of what people like to see and read? If people are going to the file host sections - whatever their reasons - what right do you have to make it more inconvenient to do so? My personal opinion on what is right and wrong is no different from yours and I (along with many others, as you correctly point out) find the Filehost topics of great importance and enjoy coming to Wjunction in order to read about the events in this important area.
I am sorry that you believe that those who are busting their ass, collecting material, organinzing material, and posting material that many people are trying to seek out and download are a bunch of "cash whores" or whatever creative insult you can come up with. However, that does not give you the right to believe that your opinion on what should or should not be posted in the recent post list is "best" for the collective community that is wjunction.com. I for one believe that those of us who share material in the marketplace of the World Wide Web have every right to be compensated for the time and talent that is required to set up a successful site that attracts a market of individuals who instinctively know that for the good stuff in life there is no such thing as free!!! They also realize that time, talent, and skills it takes to create and to sustain a successful site - just look at Wjunction for an idea of what it really takes to succeed in running a successful Website. You really don't think all those Filehost Threads are started by the Filehost companies for "free" do you?

In reality, when viewing the messages on the board, just think of it as watching TV, if you don't like the program, just change the channel. With Wjunction, if you don't like the filehost section then don't bother paying attention to it.
I'm not trying to be a jerk, I am just trying to point out the other side of your opinion.

I am sure that File Hosts Official Support forum is removed from Recent posts box, but, now we have a problem, where discussion threads are moved from there, to other forum
File Host Discussion, so, now you have Recent Posts Box clogged with:

Netload Discussion Thread
Filefactory Discussion Thread
Filestay Discussion Thread
Ryushare Discussion Thread
Depositfiles Discussion Thread
Freakshare Discussion Thread

etc etc... basically, same thing we had with Filesonic, Fileserve and wupload, now it happens all over again, with different filehosts...

It was already removed from showing, but now they moved discussions from one forum to another.
