Looks really nice! Especially for your first animated banner. Try to make the colours a bit lighter though so it matches the overall site design more.

I wanted to have it a bit darker, hoping that guests could see it at a glance and eventually register (I wish :P)..

It looks ok but sometimes you need to put more "colors" so it stands out (to get users attention). Perhaps you could use #ff4800 for "Registrati gratiumente e inizia a scaricare!"
