Recommend a Laptop / Notebook

Hey,

I was wondering what would be the best laptop for me. This is what I do:

- Chat on MSN, AIM, Google Talk
- Photoshop
- Watch Movies / Listen to Music (Multimedia)
- Travel a lot
- Homework
- Website Work
- Backups
- Downloads
- Gaming

I was thinking getting the HP DV8. But it would be better if you guys can recommend me one better :p or the HP DV8 would be the best choice. All comments, feedback, and posts are welcome . Thank You! By the way my budget is 1500, its coming from my moms pocket so don't wanna waste money.

Personally I'd go for an Acer.

I bought my Acer Aspire 5720 last year (Christmas to be exact) and it runs perfectly for all them. It can also run COD4 with ease - I recommend upgrading the ram, it comes preinstalled with 2 but it's easy to double that at a low cost.

Get an acer.

I got my acer for £500ish and the same spec at dell would cost around £1000.
Does everything I need, it was cheap but didnt lack in performance, rather the opposite.
