I luckily had no major problems with winrar, compress recently 8gb in 5min
the curious is that later are between 3 and 4 users is when gets slower ¬ ¬ I'm talking about after 04:00 am

Now is very common to see those 4GB > 2 minutes ;)

EDIT: Well, those hdd speeds don't last for more than a few minutes, if you have to compress/decompress big files like 7 to 10GB, then pray to get in those times that nobody is using the server because you will have to wait like 30-45 minutes to end.

I have paused the decompresson for 1 or 2 hours, and then resume but still, 20-30 minutes.

The bad thing is that you can't expect and average speed like other servers, or you get 5 minutes wait-time or jumps to 25-45 minutes, and believe me... pausing the rar to let other end with theirs can be for many hours... i guess those "SAS 6GBPS Raid0 HDD" bring to many heavy uploaders.

Sometimes i wonder if they download/upload full blurays for the time it takes to have decent speeds with winrar.

We Really pissed of Demo Abusers , it's them who were causing problem.

If i get them i will teach them a lesson X-( .

My process only take like 200MB... who the f**** can use sooo much ram for 1 app....
