Yes maybe, but your stats are "hazy" to me, tell me how is it possible that I get about 15k - 20k views (working days) per 24h from openload and from you I can get like only 1k views from same website where your videos are posted there in the same way as openload? Believe me even if it cost 500€ openload earns much, much more from my views ... and yes, I understand that using host as backup can hurt your revenue.
 
This morning I noticed that you deleted many videos from my account and am bit woried, but from another side I understand you that you need more space. Am streaming website owner, site is really new and just tell me how can new sites immediately get visitors and loyal audience for long term if you deleting videos.
Note, using RapidVideo was not my goal to use as backup host. However many people are here to exploit your service and are not interested about your monthly costs, maintenance and how survive your service.

Honestly I (and some others here), are here to help you and to be satisfied both (you- your service and we).
I will shortlist what are the demands of webmasters (website owners), uploaders and rest people who just watching.

Uploaders(uploading on many other video hosts, only sharing links) - Not all buying premium
Those people are similar with website owners, the difference is that they are using many other video hosts for uploading, their target is most higher payment rates(Wich host most pays). I think they are not such loyal like website owners and they are occupy most of servers resources I think.

Watchers - Almost nobody buys premium for that price you had before, they can use Netflix or such services for that price
Watchers always want everything for free, they are no interested about problems and our costs.You should make some plans for them but with cheapest price possible. Just for watching with better speed, ex. prices 2-3eur month.

Website owners(uploading only on your host, and using embed only from your host) - Most of them buying premium

1. Smooth streaming - You already have that.

2.Encoding - Don't need to have, multiple formats (keep just 360 and 720HD), as you said will save a lot of space and overloading servers)
-Keep HD uploading(enconding) just for only who are using premium users.

3.HDD Space - Maybe should not be unlimited, but afford comfortable space for ex. 5TB. After that then can buy for more space
-Example keep 5TB for premium, for basic users users spearate 1-2TB

4.Bandwith - Today all video hosts services have unlimited bandwith
Maybe should limit bandwith just for basic users, offer unlimited for premiums.

5.Deleting videos for unactivity - Webmasters needs lifetime keeping videos, but if that is impossible there also optiiongs. - If you limit them with 5GB space after filling smart webmasters will consider for 2 options. First one is to buy more additional HDD space and Seccond one to delete their videos which are not active or less active.

6.Add-free accounts - That's really good option but I do not know how many premium uploaders will use it. To be honest, just website owners are interested for this options, because many of them are not planing to earn from your adds.
Uploaders are earning from video pop-ups ads and as I said they wants hosts wich most pays.
My target is to buy premium(and I will buy it) if you offer. Also considering for paying ads free account, but that really depends which prices will you offer.

Think a little deeper and farther, not just for today or tomorrow, should stay long-term. We may not agree on some things but we are here to discuss and find a common language.
 
1. haha 5 TB for premium users who pays 10€ per month, for that price, you get 250 - 500 GB of space in one server. Never gonna work.. Vimeo is limiting 25 GB PER WEEK for his Premium Accounts.
2. Limiting bandwidth ? Well if I do that, you can forget your users and my service. No one is liking that. They complain immediately.
3. Complete Ad free Account? You pay 3 € per TB Traffic.. thats about 1.000 4K or 10.000 360p views for one TB.

I see, everyone are asking for impossible things, such as 40$ = 10.000 views earning, usw, its very sad. I am not a rich person and im giving already 110% of its total cost to this service. Maybe i should give up and close it? Blah blah users please upgrade my account to premium for free, blah blah please rank my status higher to Ultimate Black, blah blah please give me 80$ = 10.000 views... Are you going nuts and day dreaming?

2. Those who really wants this service, not looking for any earning from your ads, just classic uploaders wants that.

Yes it is the end if the users still upload 0 views videos, as we have only 9 TB of free space now.. Good luck until you see a message, that is not accepting new uploads anymore.

I can see only 62 deleted videos in your account, it is deleted due to DMCA i think.

like i said, vote for which way..

all 6 formats, but less earnings

or

The second option is best to earn more with only the resolutions 720 p and 360 p.


I have some questions:


1-If someone upload a video with 480 p this video had fallen only to 360 p, without the 480 p?
2-in this second option as would be the gains of all tiers, for everyone can see and better understand?
3-After this change, as will be the time of deletion for free users and case remains the option premium with just adding more days in your video, without being unlimited?


What's the point of being nice to users if the host is not getting back to you.

Hope 1080p stays cos not many hosts supports this. Others that supports will re-encode your 1080p til it becomes garbage. What i know of is only RapidVideo & WatchVideo.us encodes crisp quality 1080p for now.
 
Most porn sites has also only 2-3 formats, like 240p,480p and 720p or 360p,720p,1080p.... im still doing calucations and finding what is best in perfomance/price ratio... As you know, im turning all servers into bigger storage servers, more space and videos longer stored and not deleted, but the problem is now in encodings, because it will become slow. So im finding a way how to solve it.

Belive it's better to have only two formats 360p and 720 HD. It will save much of your resources.
For now leave it 4K , maybe will come some better days :)
 
update:

country codes with BR, TR, VN, MX, TW, IN, CO, AR, KR, CL, PE, VE, RS, EG is put in Tier 6, whose 1$ = 10.000 views is...

There is no point for us in making minus with these countries.

Since the users demands for unlimited space, no limiting views and high earnings, i decided to make only 360p and 720p for this time, until we are grown enough, to support other formats.

It was not an easy decision, but these multiple formats causes the server cost to go 4 times, if the users want multiple formats, then i must remove the rewards program, which is not making sense, because many users still want earn such as 40$ = 10.000 views for tier 1 and high as possible.... But our 720p is still better quality than any hosts.

And if the users still want 4K or 1080p, they can convert the videos themselves and send to us the raw data, an "no encode" option is added soon as possible.

So the services will optimized for high earnings and unlimited storage instead.

Yes, premium will get optimized with better plans (unlimited storage still apply)... But the thing, i dont want accept money from users trough the premium... only BTC is ok...

The optional formats will added in future again, but the encodings will be in pirority sorted by views

both unlimited, first up to 1080p, second up to 4K.
