TIP: mp4 videos over 1.5 GB should be re-encoded. Frees up some space and some encoders don't know how to properly encode an mp4 file. It doesn't have be 3GB for top notch quality.

It is okay, because most of the uploaded content has over 2-5 mbit bitrate and get imported 1:1 without re-encoding it. We have enough of traffic to push it.

The reason why openload, videomega produces such shit quality is because of the reencoding. Upload for instance a 1080p Playboy video of 400MB and all that is left is 83MB resulting in a terrible quality. The results produced by rapidvideo/bitporrno are of much higher quality because of the lack of reencoding.

Wrong fileformat? Send me your link via PM.

New privacy setting "Not listed" added as default, for those users who doesn't want to set the videos public in search index.

What a crap answer. These are much too low ....

Here are the requirements for Netflix:
Below are the Internet download speed recommendations per stream for playing movies and TV shows through Netflix.

  • 0.5 Megabits per second - Required broadband connection speed
  • 1.5 Megabits per second - Recommended broadband connection speed
  • 3.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for SD quality
  • 5.0 Megabits per second - Recommended for HD quality
  • 25 Megabits per second - Recommended for Ultra HD quality

Can add function for create new folder without need to choose any video?

And please create 'search' function for our own video too?

I'm not here for an argument. These internet speeds were based on the platform several tv sites are currently using. I'm talking about the legitimate sites, not the pirate ones. But anyways, you can stream HD on any network connection since most hosts offer a caching feature. The slower the speed, the longer you have to wait for it to load.

Yesterday new videos that I added were encoded in acc to highest quality, today I see that still highest quality must be encoded, also there is different status on same video at rapidvideo [Encoding (still 720p, to go)] and playernaut [Encoding (still 720p, 1080p to go) ].

Most of people probably upload HD not 4K, maybe first try to handle HD videos then, when you will be able try with 4K, just a tip ... Most of people still watch 720p, 1080p online. Those "4K videos" served online are like "art for art's sake" this is only resolution, no quality,- not true 4K ;)

Actually there is one guy on WJ who prefer 4K done first, this can be done by importing 1:1 without re-encoding, without waiting from 240p until 4K process.

Please be patient, i set it so, that 4K imports first, then the rest. Now its functioning normally.

I think its better start from lower resolution then go to highest? Atleast user dont need to wait too long video for ready to published.

Anyway are you serious allowed all file extension to be uploaded on your host? Your host accept .exe, .rar, etc....

Even youtube also started from 240p :))

I wonder who that guy is ..... but most 4K (True according to my TV) torrents are mp4's which can be viewed instantly without re-encoding. If you post 4K videos it's impossible to have people wait for their 4K video until the complete process (240-4K) is done. It would make the site worthless.

With 1:1 people can watch those videos immediately at full resolution while the others who don't prefer 4K (because of slow computers, connectivity) can watch it later in lower resolutions after re-encoding is done.

For instance my site is called 4Kporno ... it would make no sense to have people wait 1 day before they can watch it in 4K.

The process is:
1:1
240p
360p
480p
720p
1080p
2160p

So it actually doesn't if 4K is done first, because in first instance it's not re-encoded.
