It could be a stall technique..... I dont want to be negative or cause speculation..

Recent news are indeed positiving... However, why tomorrow? Perhaps stalling us....

Oh, it basically means RapidSpeeds owns nothing, they were just reselling LeaseWeb under their IP ranges. They have been lying all the time. It also mean HostHatch couldn't colo as well.

Gotta love false advertising

Well it might be true.. you don't know the facts. If they have a lease-to-own contract they do ''own'' the hardware.
I knew from the start that they didn't order the hardware themselves.. that was all made up.

You are really gullible/optimistic. There was no ddos attack. Leaseweb is already promising to sell RapidSpeeds servers to their previous respective "owners" and you still hope for RapidSpeeds to make a comeback. Time to take off the rose-colored glasses.

I am not hoping for anything.. I don't have any servers with them.
Just saying that if everyone is going to start to file disputes it'll be very hard for them to survive.. And you don't know what's going on. If it's money issues they'll never share that with the public (so it's better to say it's massive DDoS attack that took everything down).

Servers should be back online tomorrow. Everyone who has an open order will be getting what they ordered. More info to come.

Yeah and 30+ hours ago we was told it would be 12-18, and also told it was because of a "DDoS" but was then told by Leaseweb that there was absolutely no network issues.

Excuse me if I think you are FOS. :(

Heh... I'm not that loyal to RapidSpeeds that I would bother stalling you. If Darren is using me to stall, then I would probably quit.

The DDoS was not a lie, but it wasn't the cause of the issue. Once its back up I'll post the graphs.

So if Darren has relayed this to you, why hasnt he emailed clients or at least updated the twitter with some news or just to attempt to dispel scam rumors?

The only way RS is going to survive after this is if they are completely honest about what has happened and why all servers and sites were down.

Servers should be back online tomorrow.
Can you also be more specific on this?? What sort of time tomorrow??
9:00am ?? 9:00pm ?? It makes a huge difference, we've all waited god knows how long, and to be honest... we've received very little news/updates from Rapidspeeds.

Don't get me wrong, I'm as glad as everyone else now that we can see light at the end of the tunnel.... but it's just small details like this which could make people MUCH happier.

look take the bleepers off mate, its another smokescreen, its bullshit.they owe leaseweb a six figure sum and that is fact.dont get your hopes up until you see proof is what i say.

i will believe it when i see it.if you were a true and top company you wud have informed all your customers.why didt you?you must have known peeps wud leave you.why risk that if you were coming back?bit irish for me
