Can you tell me what are current upload speeds from EvoSwitch DC to FileServe? I've heard it's only about 1MB/s while OVH DC can (sometimes) upload even at 10MB/s to FIleserve. I'm currently on 100Mbps dedi so I don't know max speed beyond that.

@JoomlaZ: with rapidspeed server in NL, i get to upload 1GB file in about 15-20 sec in a single stream via web upload in chrome...hope you tried it ;) (TO fileserve)

I made a quick script to check where possibly all (web) upload servers are based. They are all in USA :( http://pastebin.com/fTApDYTE

Aha whales, yes browser upload works fine. sorry i wrote about ftp. With Zoom file uploader it'll rock for sure.

And rtlx, fileserve is obviously US based. Well, filesonic has got US and EU servers. Ul, x7, depositfiles etc having good speed from NL. Downloading is very fast from filesonic like 30 - 40 mb/sec i gets using idm. Fileserve like 8mb - 10mb. btw m having 1gbit connection. i guess whales to having 1gbit line. ;)

i have their sx1000..i used to have a dedicated server.both were NL based.
I think,NL servers gets you better speeds to US based host..(i might be wrong though)

yup,1gbit (y)

FTP is slow,coz fileserve caps it at 1.5mb/s. You cant go faster than that in FTP even if you have a server at Choopa.(the DC where Fileserve are based)
 
Yes, I know it's 1Gbps, I figured as much as he wouldn't be able to upload 1GB in 20sec :) I just want to know whether he's using dedicated server, or semi-dedicated.

Instant Delpoyment works well actually but if you click on the order button it will tell you what OS's we have available for instant deployment, if they are not available they will take upto 48 hours to complete (almost always less).

As for Hardware RAId, yes it would be motherboard RAID.

aha well when i ordered it i opted windows 2008 web edition and at that time it showed 1x is available ;) Well, itsnt a problem coz i have got the server already :)

EDIT : I tried loading it over rdp now only and itsnt loading :( i opened a support ticket as i just need it to be up asap!

It depends how much bandwidth you will be using? Streamers will get throttled (check t&c's) as and when needed if they do not notify us what they plan on doing, as the traffic profile is different from all others.

I will be uploading my videos to videobb and stuff but I just need to know if your unmetred dedi can handle the traffic.

I use rapid seeds right now and i really like there service speeds are great on dedicated machines i have the Qx4000 and its amazing for my leech system i have the speeds are unbeatable
