Rapidshare banned my server IP. Need advice on..

RS banned my server IP. Need advice on..

Hey guys, recently RS had banned one of my server. At first I thought it was the IP that they banned. (I'm using OVH)....now after I've tried using my extra failover IPs. I'm still being banned :k

Note: RS did not ban OVH totally as i've tried it on my other servers

Now guys, any idea why my other IPs didn't work too? This is my server info

ip : xxxxx.81.2x
ip : xxxxx.128.9x
ip : xxxxx.48.1x
hostname : ns2xxxx7.ovh.net

Did RS check for hostname which points to my main IP? or something else?

Well. what did you do? Rapidleech?

If yes u should have had one IP for site and another IP for outgoing connections.

It's a link gen site. And yes i've that server as dl server only.

My problem is, RS somehow know I'm using the same server regardless of how many IPs i'd changed on that server :k need a pro to enlighten me on what exactly happen

I'l pay those who contributed and help, if I manage to figure out why....

Hey Guys I've discovered something

I followed this instruction here to use the xxxxx.128.9x IP (one of the extra IP) as a proxy
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/proxies/56333-ssh-tunneling-100-effective.html (ssh tunneling)
I'm 100% sure I added xxxxx.128.9x to be used

But when i start using it and and check my ip using http://www.ip-adress.com/
It actually shows xxxxx.81.2x (the main IP) instead.

Now now...anyone knows what i can do :/

Did you pay for this server for a year in advance? If you are paying monthly, you can always switch to another VPS.

I'm on a dedicated server. Thanks but that's not the answer i'm looking for It would be for benificial to everyone if a pro knows why this happen and knows how to fix the IP problem.

Unless there's no such people in WJ :/

if you are trying to change the main server ip you need to edit the ifconfig

Is ur Server DNS proper. Is it set to Google DNS. SOmetimes that may cause problem

I've a standalone script - if it works, download will start, else it'll tell me 'login problem'. I did extra check with account checker script too.

Previously i though it was hostname too. But after i personally test those IP (via ssh tunneling). Indeed....i'm stuck after i click 'login' in RS page.

Find it weird, so i decided to go to any ip add checking site and to my surprise it's showing the Main IP instead of the failover extra ip that I suppose to be using in ssh tunneling

I'm seriously wondering why? I remember having WHM long long time ago... and I'm able to set each IP to each domain, and when pinging this domain, the correct IP shows :s Do i have to config something?

@humour, my script has been working for almost 1.5 yrs, until 3 days ago :/

Give it a day. RS has temp banned many servers for 24 hours.
Edit: Go look up a good tutorial on SSH tunneling lol.

it has been almost 4 days. The ssh tunnel tut works well ;s I'm sure something is wrong
