Like I said, that logo is temporary to show where it would go, haven't designed the new one yet.

Our design team are now working on the new logo. Ill post some mock-up designs they come up with soon.

yh, its pretty complicated - especially the image editor i'm working on. For that reason I can't put a date on when it will be ready as so many things can go wrong and cause delays.

Forgot about zip-upload function. rap^ mentioned it can get exploited but if the correct measures are taken...I'll talk to my development team about that and to the coder working on it (no promises yet).

LoL then by copying imgcentre you admire it, yet might deny it.
Good job, cant say hardwork coz u took imgcentre as a sample.Expected little higher from rapidpic. So v2 of rapid equal v1 of imgecentre?

Hope changes will be made to represent rapidpic's unique-ness.
 
Well guys I really don't know why your saying that we are copying imgcentre because to tell you the truth we thought about these features before imgcentre was even created. The reason is we been to busy with life and other other sites so never really began on v2. To show you proof you can ask hawk about v2 as I spoke to him about 2 months ago and discussed what features were gonna be included.
 
I like the changes :D The Personal Gallery Page is great!

The only way to improve a site is to apply new features, the only thing is that Elio beat you to it. A great feature does not make your site a "copy cat." It just makes it less unique.

I still will use Image Centre though as it pwns everything else lol
 
thanks for the comments guys. like phatal said, we have been working on these features for some time as v2 was initially decided on a few months ago.

I won't deny we got some design ideas on how users can use watermarks from imgcentre which is what seems to be causing people so much problem, but I wouldn't call it "ripping". It shows we accept imgcenter as a good site.

i see an imgcentre copy when i look at raid v2. and who came out with the firefox addon first? raid or img.. cus i dont remember it being on raidpic before but now its there. even same words as img. "Try Our New Firefox Addon!"

are you just going to get all of your ideas from someone elses site? at least make up one or two mods we havnt seen before. then itd even out a bit :p

EITHER WAY your v2 looks nice except for the design. id stick to light imo but change it up.

to cover your side though, its not like imgcentre has a watermark option copyrighted or you stole anything from them. you just want to use it cus its a good thing to have, users like that shit. i understand where your coming from and this really isnt meant to be a hate post.

Dotcom before you start saying that we stole the FF addon to remote upload you need to get your facts right. We added the extenstion at mozilla on May 15th 2009 and Imgcentre wasn't around at that time meaning they must have copied us.
 
yea the plugin is common anyways lets leave all this competition bullshit aside :) i like the design and the features u guys have planed wish ya good luck with it :)

We have had it for over 2 months, and that text has been there for over 2 months :P.

Nobody really copied anybody for a ff addon, most image sites now have one.
