i have seen on many forums as Usergroup bot like this:

by doing it you can define custom permissions for bots ..

Yes its good as those bots (spiders) are essentially feeding on your site's content and indexing them on google / yahoo which brings you traffic. I personally don't like seeing bots online on forums when I view them you should make them invisible. :p

what exactly means

As we mentioned, our bot will not crawl your website unless it is requested to crawl and check the filehost links on your website.

when user clicks on check then i get crawled else your site is not getting crawled?

that will check your links in posts when it is clicked, if not clicked it will not crawl your site
