Problem in running xampp server

I am installing xampp server on my desktop but i am not getting localhost .

Apache and mysql are running on xampp control panel.

Please Help

sometimes your system default port block the XAMPP so this kind of problem occured.

Well these problem can also occur due to your currently running software's as well.

For say,
If you are running Skype, simply close it completely. Restart your web server.
And then you can restart the Skype as well.

Also you can check running services.

Open skype go to tools->options->Internet setting

unmark to use port 80 and in the box type port number 1234 save it. Restart your skype and xamp your localhost will run
