Not really, any sharing forum be it porn, music or whatever are usually run by talentless thieves.

In an online capacity, generally those who's website business revenue generation model revolves around knowingly redistributing or inciting others to redistribute other peoples work without their permission. It doesn't take a genius to realize that that websites operating this business model are shady as shit behind the scenes (amongst many example, think almost every filelocker, sharing forum, torrent site or tube site).

I agree with you about the porn being made harder to access to reduce access to minors, there's no reason that they can't at least have credit card verification.
