I'm on a tight budget and want the flexibility of a VPS. Santrex are cheap but I've been on a China server before which was a load of shit. If I were to get a VPS in any of Santrex's locations, which would be ideal for Warez?

Also, if you know of any other _cheap_ but reliable VPS hosts, please tell me.

PS. Don't flame about Santrex, I've read the other 20 odd threads about them, I don't want to make this the 21st.

£5-10 a month. It needs to be fast and I don't mind a little network downtime, as long as it isn't system-level downtime. IRCD's need to be allowed too.
 
It's not for a single site, It's for several. I have a shared hosting plan, but am topping my 50GB limits a month. I currently host IRC and Jabber services on my home server, but I'd prefer them to be hosted elsewhere. It would cost around £10 on electric for it per month; for which same amount of money could get me a host for all my sites.
 
well mate. I can offer you a plan on shared with more than 50gb bw a month for under £10

its just that i really do doubt you could get a vps for that much
 
I'm looking for the cheapest place for hosting at the moment, but with the best speeds.

@Sherwood: Why not allow multiple month hosting contracts, instead of just one.
 
Norted.com, I presume doesn't allow Warez, and wheter or not they allow IRCd's is unclear; I have emailed them about the latter.

EDIT: Oh, btw Sherwood, is hostpirate.org on your *own* server or are you using a reseller?
EDIT2: Norted replied, IRCd is allowed. I doubt Warez is.

Still thinking about it. Very good prices, I just need a VPS. But your host seems most likely at the moment, I'll get back to you though mate!
 
Norted did allow warez and i still expext they do as warezthegfx is with norted.

only thing is tho when i was with them they got hacked and some of there vps's were deleted (no joke) so i kinda craped my self and moved imo they arn't very reliable either i had a lot of downtime with sherwarez when i was with them.

just a heads up..
 
I'll look into Norted and some others. I need reliable hosting though, as it'll be powering a few small business sites even I don't own, and any downtime will mean I'll get the blame.
 
If anyone wants to give me hosting for free, just to get my site setup that would be a great help. I'll link back to you, if you wish ;).
 
I thought you were wanting a vps at first now free hosting?

well like i said we got some cheap prices at hostpirate.org cheap as $1.99

but if want a custom one pm me or email me.
 
I do want a VPS. I think now it might be better to get my site on firm ground and with a decent skin, after that, I'll go VPS.

anyway yeah if you havent got it started out yet then you deffo want to get shared hosting than a vps as when you first start you dunno if it will take off or not and it will turn out loosing a lot of money

also did norted reply about the warez thing?
 
I never asked about Warez. I've seen a few warez sites on Norted anyways, so I'll keep an eye out for any VPS, I can wait though.
