How it works:
  1. You order one server that appears to be available to instant setup.
  2. After your payment is confirmed the server is automatically powered on.
  3. Your selected operating system will start installing.
  4. Your selected partition schema will be applied.
  5. After the process is complete, you will receive an e-mail with details on how to access your new server.
  6. The time from payment to server access should be between 5 - 10 minutes.

Included features:
  • Web power management.
  • Custom partitioning schema for automatic OS install.
  • Reverse DNS management from web.

Maxvolrat,

The main payment system accepted is from PayU.ro, you can check them out, they have an english version as well, called avangate.com.
We do not charge directly, again the payment gateway is PayU and to be honest they have a very strict validation system.
If for any reason you have problems with them please feel free to email me directly claudiu at pidginhost.com or open a support ticket from within your account. I checked the ticketing system and there is nothing related to payment issues in the last week.

As for Pidgin Host, I can assure you that the company is not a scam, here is how you can check:
https://www.pidginhost.com/about-us/contact - scroll down, you will find there all the legal details
http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/ - use the VAT ID listed on the above form in order to check
https://apps.db.ripe.net/search/query.html?searchtext=AS59632&search:doSearch=Search#resultsAnchor - here you can see the registered AS number with RIPE
Bottom line is that Pidgin Host operates it's own data center.

Usually PayU sends validation emails to the email used at payment, they are requesting for additional details in order to validate the payment. As soon as you provide the requested details the payment will be automatically accepted. And this happens only if the payment is suspect of fraud. I do not know what is the filtering criteria but I know for sure that we never had a fraud payment accepted by them.

As closing, please keep in mind that the support department for a company is not on forums. You should first open a support ticket and if not satisfied you should make others aware of your experience by posting on forums.
