Ticket 487612
i might wanna try get a kimsufi server one day. But yes i do see quite a number of negative reviews for its bandwidth.
I hope things have improve there. How much will it cost to have 2tb x 2 software raid 1 on Kimsufi 16G ?
Is there a limit for the number of IPs that we can buy or you need standard justifications?
How much does the IP cost for base on CIDR blocks?
Here are the screenshots for the encoding test:
usually when you encode a video, its encoded into 2 parts! the 1st part is usually faster and the speed there doesnt really matter, its fast on all servers.
the screenshot for the first part is: http://i.imgur.com/FjlMk.jpg
Second part, is where the real test begins, frames per second is all that matters! more frames = faster encode! here is the screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/D4BKe.jpg

Overall it took 2 minutes max to encode a tv show video whose size was 300MB, i would say its epic fast!
also, i didnt test it for proper mkv cause i wasnt able to setup megui perfectly, it had some x64 issues i wasnt aware of! but anyway the results should be pretty much same for mkv or mp4.
Fileserve Up speed: http://i.imgur.com/6GcFG.jpg goes upto 5MB/s
Filesonic Up speed: http://i.imgur.com/3N9KV.jpg goes upto 20MB/s
Wupload Up speeds: http://i.imgur.com/hg3fZ.jpg goes upto 20MB/s
Megaupload: the speed wont go above 500kbps
Rapidshare: http://i.imgur.com/pZDcS.jpg this is when i had several files on upload at the moment!
thats pretty much it! if you need any other filehosts proofs, lemme know!
Solved for this ticket.
