For my main PC: Windows 8.1 Pro
For my laptop: Xubuntu
For my tablet: Windows 8 (RT)
Phone: Android
Servers: CloudLinux
I saw someone earlier asking why you'd choose Windows 8.x over Windows 7 if you don't have a touchscreen. The simple answer for me, is that it's less resource consumption, and once you actually adjust to how things are done on Windows 8, navigating is easier. Most people just dismiss it because they don't want to get used to something new.

I'm using Ubuntu operating system and so far I feel satisfied about it for a few reasons:
1) I like that it's a combination of both - Windows and Macintosh. In other words, it looks like mac but has some shortcut keys that are more similar to WIndows
2) It can be easily customized
3) Variety of open-source software packages

8.1 x64 is best if u have a proper PC with powerfull cpu and alot of fast memory.

I work with Windows 7 x64 because it is very stable and I use Windows 10 pro for gaming
