Subtitles are customable for any user on his own.
Check captions button and then captions setting.

please fix your new player, it bugggy and killing user experince. i mean when you click on play the circle does not rotate that video is loading instead it went away after clicking on it and secondly subtitles does not show properly. and please please add Quality selector like 720, 480p etc this is what new video host requires to serve the multiple audience.

To support subtitles in iOS, the subtitle format have to be in VTT format, not srt. Its tricky.
