Okhay.. got the VPS this morning (when i woke up, its already been mailed to me) tested and worked out to get my Remote Desktop and make all the necessary installations i need.

I must say. its better than I was expecting it. The rar/unrar was super fast, download/upload is very good. Hope the service can keep this up even on peak hours. We'll see on peak hours. Right now I am very satisfied with the VPS!
 
I must concur with Thainpa.

In the night the speeds are good (RS upto 3.5mbs, not great but good) and hotfile (onshore!) reaches also 3.5Mbs and uploads to hotfile reach 10-11Mbs.

However, when day breaks the speeds fall down to under 1Mbs for RS and 200Kb for hotfile ...

I guess I can't ask for a refund, as the paid 10 dollars is lower than the deduction of $15 dollars ....
 
I didn't use some kind of 'php' file to do these tests (did I say the word Rapidleech) ... I used both downloads from the browser (RD) and Multiget with one stream.

Same results.

Must say in Bentink honor that I haven't seen that high speeds on downloads from onshore like hotfile (upto 3.5 mbs) and uploads to hotfile rival that of my onshore RL.

Also offshore like RS is very good 9-10Mbs.

Will conduct more tests at different times.

But until now I must 'Hail Bentink'

PS How much more for a '1 gb' port? Trial possible ...?
 
I've abandoned the RD of Ubuntu and reinstalled CentOS with Kloxxo ...

The test you gave are a solid 10Mbs ....

As I said I have no complains at the moment.

I'm gonna to buy lvl2 for hosting a forum with 3-4k visit and for vpn services for 15 people.
how is your vps now? are you satisfied?
 
The maintenance was expected to last three hours ... Indian time 02:30 - 0:530 (which is about the same time as Bangkok).

About 12 hours later I still cannot connect to the server and my domains do not resolve.
My VPS Panel says 'online'.

I send them a ticket. They replied:'maintenance after 4 hours'. I don't have a clue .. the maintenance was this (early) morning?

Yes, it is. After I couldn't connect to my VPS, I noticed that I couldn't connect to my other servers in Germany also.

I figured out it was a ISP proxy problem. They corrected it now. All my domains are working again.

Again, your VPS is great.
