Nuked Releases

I don't know if this is the right section, if it isn't I apologise.

Anyway, what I wanted to know was, who actually decides that a release will be nuked. Is it a group of people, a single person, or is it all the release groups who decide?

This may sound like a stupid question, or even a question that everyone knows the answer to, but I don't lol So I thought I would ask.

i think a release is nuked when some1 bombed that particular release.

when they've realised something fked up the release they nuke it
pretty awesome huh xD

That is in theory wrong, because I know the only nukes by groups of their own release is the grp.req nukes.

bad, duplicate, stolen releases are nuked by "nukers" in a nuke channel.

a nuker need special access to nuke a release.

Ah, thanks for that. So, are the people who nuke releases associated with any of the groups? Do they get voted in, nominated, or whatever?

Also, do they have to go through every single release to make sure they are correct etc....

is must be a violation of one of the standards.

format, packaging, naming etc.

It must be a really time-consuming job going through all of them. I think they do an amazing job, that's the reason I only download scene releases and not P2P. P2P haven't got the same standards and guidelines, in fact none.
