New to WJ

Came across WJ hoping for answers on ways to decrease the time spent uploading and how to make the process as efficient as possible. I'm looking for faster ways to get files from HD to hosts. I've been a little confused what actually affects each will do beyond web uploading to ftp or vps. I've seen plenty of topics in here so I'm hoping to find a new solution. If there's a faster way, I want it even it it takes a little extra $$ a month to achieve it. B-)
