Need to pay rent

Hello all,

I was talking about this earlier in the shout box and I was recommended to make a thread. I am $300 short for rent, and it is due this week. I will take the $300 as a loan meaning I will pay you back when I have the money which should be in 2-3 months or as a donation meaning what you are doing is greatly appreciated.

Please, if anyone could help, I would be very thankful.

the net is the wrong place to ask.

PLUS, u got a hosting service, try to promote it in a more proffesional way and u will get all u want in less than a week.
 
I don't know why all of you guys are ripping on him for trying. Back when I was active on the web, I loaned out a couple hundred bucks to help people get started with things, on the condition that I knew they were trustworthy. All he is doing is asking, if you are not interested don't criticize like we did in kindergarten...

I'd suggest those.. they're better. Maybe DP forums or some other forum.

This is the last place you should try, if you're asking for favors, IMO.
Since most of the community here is immature kids looking to pick on each other. Nothing else.. or at least.. that is what this community has become.
 
Most of my family is in financial trouble. All my family are going through foreclosure or bankruptcy. All of my good friends don't have the money to spare, living on a very fixed income and too many bills.

Thank you anyways guys for the ideas and textual support.

I'll try to promote my web hosting better, hopefully I can work it all out.

Until you are aware of where I am actually living, I don't think it is too nice to be sarcastic. It is impossible right now to get a job in my area.
 
I didn’t mean for my original response to be sarcastic, banks will often grant some sort of overdraft on an account or a small loan.

If you cant approach the bank for any reason have you looked at "get cash fast" websites, there are loads of them that do small loans (sometimes with same day payout) the interest is often pretty rubbish but on $300 it wouldn’t be that bad and it would afford you your rent.

If you cant do that then you could try applying for a credit card, there will be a small amount of interest to pay on $300 and again its worth the charge for a few months to get the rent paid.

Random thought: If you have an entire week to come up with the money you could also try door to door car washing? I did this when I was younger not sure what the going rate in your country would be but when I was living in England I charged £5 / wash and often came home with at least £30 - £50. You just need a bucket and clothes. (they'll provide the water ;)). Sounds a bit insane but it will all add up.

I do think you need to be careful asking for money while representing a hosting company, potential customers that find this thread will hardly be inspired with confidence and in the long run it will tarnish your reputation.

Asking on a forum is a bit of a gamble for everyone, its hard to trust people on the net especially with large cash sums.

I know how hard it sucks having no money I was recently made redundant at work and keep running into the red myself.
 
and maybe he in genuine need so why dont u cut the guy some slack..........maybe he is a scammer maybe he isnt.........but if he isnt then took a lot of gutz to post asking.
