Need someone good with IPB3

It works fine, i had issues with 1.1.0 on board 3.0.3 but 1.1.1 works fine, register on my site oif you want a demo, pm me there as i will have to put you in the "site friends" group as members are not allowed to view the shout.

I have now installed the Shoutbox, it is working from the Tab, but it isn't showing in the main page of the forum, I went into Hooks and it is enabled there, but still it won't show !

by the way .. I have edited the User Permissions, I've set them all so that they see and use the shoutbox.

Why isn't it showing on the main page ? :(
 
Is the global shoutboix hook enabled and enabled in the shoutbox settings in system settings?? go to ACP type "shoutbox" and look through all the settings.
 
Yep it is enabled in:

Applications & Modules > Manage Hooks > Installed Hooks

And also It is enabled in:

System Settings > IP Shoutbox > Hook: Global Shoutbox

But it is still not showing on the main page ! :(
 
mmmm that is strange, all i can suggest is you give me temporary acp access and i will have a look, its odd though i am sure when i first installed it that it showed up automatically on my site index and all over pages, i then changed it so it only shows on index.
 
OK it turns out it was a problem with Re-Caching the skin I was using.

I have done that now and the shoutbox is showing and working as it should ! :)

I'm good thank you, just headache with sorting the site out, my old hosts shut us down so, I'm starting everything from new, I've moved to IPB 3 from SMF. Getting a new skin soon ..etc :)

How have you been ?

Ah that makes sense, though it should of re-cached all the skins on install.
