So, yesterday I bought a VPS, my first. just bought it to play around with it and testing and learning :)
And when I try to install yum with this command:
Code:
yum -y install kdepim
I get this error:
Code:
yum: command not found
Is there anyone who can help me, please?

Well, I asked the support and they said:
You DO have CentOS, however the way that Parallels have packaged their templates for use, starts them without it - it is installed on the node for each container. This has been queued and will be completed shortly.

its easy to enable yum in Virtuozzo VPS
Login to your Virtuozzo panel
Go to packages and Click on install
in search box type yum and hit search button
then checkbox yum package and hit install button

That's all i remember as I don't have any Virtuozzo panel atm hope it will help you

Highest Regards

Well I get this message when I visit Package, I guess I should wait.

Unable to manage packages in this Container.

Possible reasons

  • env_state_other.gif
The Container is checking for updates at the moment. To perform the requested operation, the Container should be in the running state.
Possible solutions

  • Wait for the operation currently performed on the Container to be completed.
