Hello Guys..I am working on a college project which is about Stock Trading developed in C#.net .I'm kinda stuck at a point from last month or so..I am tensed and have no clue about it.As it's my final year project and i am not getting things right..

I need to know How to code form which fetch data from Yahoo! finance or Google Finance for some 10 stocks and then save it in Access dB .When one trades shares fetch value direct from those sites and compute necessary calculations as required..Please if any one have any idea do let me know ..I'll be thankful to you..Thanks

Well, maybe I wrong, but you probably need to become familiar with htmlagilitypack for beginning in order to read from websites.

edit: or you can see if there is some api for your needs.

i got the API for both Yahoo! and Google!..but the data is in an XML document.:)
 
Look Guys, if you do not want to help this fellow, then don't pass comments at him. May be he is not good with coding OR stuck at some part where he can not find the way out.

Hope you get the clue, how to do it! If any electronics thing is related then throw me a question.
 
Well, parsing xml data is pretty simple, I was working on something few days ago(in vb.net, but all .net are simmilar...). If you need to parse only data like this:

<some-xml-data>this is data</some-xml-data>, I can give you few samples, but if you need to parse html data inside the xml data like this:

<some-xml-data>this is data, but in html :P<some-xml-data> then I can't help you :S
