Need advice about school site

I am gonna design a website for my school.

Should I go directly with wordpress or should I go and design a HTML site and then integrate it with wordpress or link it to blog ?

Any ideas ?

well wordpress is fairly straight forward, your best bet is going and coding and designing straight on wordpress.

nah.. dont be flashy with it. no flash either.. most school sites are simple and boring. thats the wya it should be.

Yes, use joomla because it looks boring but has loads of functionality.
