Namecheap has started suspending accounts registered with fake data.

Mine has also been suspended. And not can login the namecheap.
If I manage to get back in for a day or two, or if they allow the transfer, is there a site where I can register with fake data, or one that doesn't require ID?

damn thats not good, do they ask for an ID or full KYC (selfie and shit)? and how they discovered your data is fake?

keep us updated if you can transfer your domains

I don't know how they discovered it, but many people are writing similar things on their Reddit page. I'll write about what happens next.

Someone write need id:

Someone wrote that Namecheap has a new owner. That could be why.
A Google search reveals that there has indeed been a change in ownership."

"In September 2025, private equity firm
CVC Capital Partners acquired a majority stake in Namecheap in a deal valuing the company at $1.5 billion. Following this acquisition, founder Richard Kirkendall stepped down, and Hillan Klein was appointed as the new CEO. The deal includes Namecheap's domain, hosting, and newer platform, Spaceship. "

Yeah, Namecheap's been cracking down hard on fake registration data lately. If you manage to get back in and transfer out, you'll want a registrar that doesn't hassle you with ID checks.
Njalla is a solid option—they register the domain under their own info, accept crypto, and don't ask for your documents. Pricey, but private. OrangeWebsite (Iceland-based) is another one known for being lax on verification. Some people also use Porkbun with real info + privacy protection and call it a day. There's also Njord from Sweden if you want another privacy-focused choice, but same deal—not exactly cheap.
No registrar is 100% anonymous though. ICANN rules mean they can technically demand verification anytime, especially if the domain gets reported or involved in anything shady. If the domain is important, honestly might be safer to just register a new one with real data somewhere reliable and move on. Less stress, and you don't have to look over your shoulder every time they change their ToS.
Just keep in mind that hopping between "fake data friendly" registrars is a cat and mouse game. Eventually they either get bought out or start playing by the rules. Njalla's model is probably the most future-proof since they own the domain legally, but you're putting trust in them instead. Pick your poison.

Same thing with Alexhost, one my domains got suspended and i was asked to provide an ID / photo with my face and home address to get it back...

I swear everything these days now require you to show your real identity, which is so annoying...
