mybb 1.6 to phpbb3.0.7

When i run the conversion script i get the following message in step 3 "Conversion in progress"

408 Request Time-out

    This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase 'Connection Timeout'.

can some one tell me why i am getting this error :'(

Are you doing this on a localhost i have always done database conversions on a localhost and it all goes well normally

Converting a database is a huge request and by the looks of it your host does not support that bigger request are you on shared hosting you shouldnt be converting on a shared host because it can be really strenuous on the server and you could get suspended

oh thank u i will not try to convert on shard hosting account . But when i try to perform convertion on localhost i get the following error

My OS is win 7 due to this error i tryed the convertion on my shard hosting . due you know host to resolve this issue
