What I did when I had that same problem:
I searched for a strong (heavy) metal pipe, and put it in my bathroom, between the wall separating the bath and the room and the bathroom window (if you have one).
OR you could just hang one in you bathroom (requires drilling)

Anyway, be creative B-)

Um, who cares? You are not doing it for him, you are trying to look better for yourself. You should never listen to your parents all the time. Sure I'm not saying it's bad but they are not always right.

Confront him. I have a friend who is 22yo and guy is listening to hes parents for everything like hes 10, good guy tho. I even had argue with his parents few times, I was saying to them how it's not good to treat him like hes 10 and to try to make everything perfect because life isn't perfect, but when they are retards, and don't understand, you can't help em.

I don't listen to my father all the time but he owns the house and i don't want
to **** up anything.
