I just got my first virus... well, that my antivirus couldn't block.

Someone on my site reported a post as containing a virus, it was
Microsoft Word [Portable] and about 100mb in size so I thought... that's pretty big for a virus

I downloaded it to double-check and when I extracted it it looked real, had an icon that looked official I opened the exe and it showed the Microsoft Word load screen as it normally would.. but then it froze and my antivirus popped up saying "buffer overload blocked" and Ad-Watch detected some shit and popped up something saying process blocked.

After all that I just ended the process, and then my explorer.exe started crashing to the point that every 30 seconds it would do it...
I went into processes and there were like 300 entries the virus had running, all random #'s followed by .exe

The virus also kept opening WinZIP and trying to extract shit and I kept clicking cancel when it did it.

I logged off and my PC's explorer isn't crashing any more however its slow as hell, even though I don't notice any processes that look suspicious, and NOW in google any thing I click on doesn't go to the website entry it goes to another search engine such as:

http://www.ave99.com/search.php?q="what i searched for"
and every time I restart firefox and search in google it will redirect to a different search engine thing..

So the results are:
Slow as hell PC
Google does not work
and my ad-aware or antivirus wont detect it XD

Any suggestions??
Usually I dont have to worry about this shit because my antivirus always blocks anything bad I get

Also I remember the ad-aware popping up something about a change to services.exe or something I cant remember exactly...

1. Try a reboot yet?

2. Boot into safe mode, then run -> cmd ->type: msconfig hit enter and then navigate to the start up tab and remove any strange start applications. You may also want to try running a scan from safe mode. Kaspersky has a great boot disk for cases like this.

try this:

Code:
http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/

It automatically runs like 15 anti virus programs one after the other (I used it like 3 years ago and was very good stopped using it because its easier just using one program for everyday protection)

dude I had the same shit before only thing to do is re format as the processes will just keep coming and using up all cpu and memory the longer the system is on

aaaaaahhhh lol fuck it im just gunna get a new PC im using an XP pc with 512mb ram and 40gb HDD LOLOLOLOLOL
