Hi all,

I just opened MovieRush.biz with a friend of mine and we have already tried to make great improvements on the forum. We have already done the following things:

  • We have custom icons on our index
  • We like to keep things clean
  • Our site has been completely Search Engine Optimized
  • We have a very dedicated Staff crew
  • We provide quality downloads
  • Our skin is unique
  • we have a custom logo
  • We have a tag cloud at the bottom of the index
  • NO ads!
It would be nice if the members would give a review about the forum, what they like about it, what they dislike about it and even suggestions are welcome.

i like the skin and custom board icons..

u should add something to the left of the banner as it is too empty space

i like the way the movie are classified i.e bluray Hd etc etc

i would give it 3.5/5

Hi, First of all thanks for making a dedicated movie forum!

Now for the suggestions/compliments -:
- Fix the shoutbox.
- The logo rocks 10/10!
- Favicon, The 'M' i can hardly see. Can you make it brighter?
- I'm sure you can 'hide' the staff room section - Anyway a good idea for this would be 'If you want to become staff apply by PMing an administrator.' in the category description, up to you really.
- You made custom images, did you miss the Statistics and Users image? (http://movierush.biz/images/redfox/misc/whos_online.gif) (http://movierush.biz/images/redfox/misc/stats.gif). Personally I think that if buttons are customised all of them should be then. It'll suit the theme.
- No more suggestions/ran out of ideas. :P
 
Thanks iMack. That staff section will be fixed asap as I speak.
Those other two buttons, will try think of something to repclace them :)

Introducing? ;) Friend of W h o o and he had the idea of starting this. I asked him rather he was alone yes or no. He was alone, I offerend my assistance, he agreed, so now we two own the forum. Let's hope we'll do well. A new moderator with good experience has also been chosen. Good team of 3 experienced people. We'll make the best of it :)

That skin is not unique; nor does it make your site look professional. When I saw the post by you (Whoo) I was ready to be impressed; and sadly I am not. Everything else looks highly thought out and I would change nothing. But, I cannot stress enough that you go with a new theme and definitely better graphics.

*The fox series skins will never look unique again, they have been well..whored!*

PS, hide shoutbox to guests.

One more thing; I think it will look much better. Instead of the "/" but "&"
 
Hi,

Thanks all for the suggestions. I'm here to inform you all that we will be keeping the redfox skin at the moment. My main idea is get the forum big, get donations that will go 100% back into the site , this means after donations we will be able to get a classy unqiue skin coded.

There will be put hard work into the site, we have got ourself great moderator already who in my opinion is the perfect man for the job :)
