Hmm not really Google. Google's business is advertising - thats where they rake it in big. Yes, they acquired Motorola Mob but that was strategic, mainly due to their patent portfolio.

Microsoft is moving their software model into software+hardware which Apple is dominating atm since BlackBerry is now irrelevant.
