Whitehat .me domain: Good or Bad

Considering buying a .me domain? Are they good or bad as far as like SEO goes?
I mean I know .com is king but i want something a bit more...unique and fun.

I don't believe myself that .com's have higher priority in order of SEO.

Also, there are some neat domains going for x'xxx rate. For an example:

cab.me gone recently for $1'900

And the .me is a nice TLD in overall. I would buy if I would have a nice use for one.

I'm not so sure about .me domains...If I were you, I'd go for a .com or at least for a .net.

I think that only .com, .net and .org are TLD, other not. Btw - .me domain means Montenegro, not personal (me, mine or something like that)

The only famous site I know that use .me extension is demonoid. If you're gonna ask me, I wouldn't buy a .me domain unless the name is really short or contains a good keyword.
