Forgive me for the catchy title. It does sound odd, I know. But I'll get down to business right now, right away.

The task?
Quite simple. LulzImg's code revamp is almost done. My coder needs the design to code in the last two features, although he's working on about 5 other features right now and expects them to be done in the next 2 days. After that, he'll be sitting around while I get the design.. well.. designed and coded, I can then give it to him and we'll have stuff almost done.

So, the task?
Sorry about deviating off the topic up there. This thread serves just one purpose - to possibly hire a talented GFX'er who'll suit my needs for the new redesign I'm looking for.

What do you have to do?
If you are a GFX artist/designer, reply here with your portfolio and/or previous designs. I'll be going through them all and pick the one I feel suits my needs.

What kind of design is the new LulzImg going to be?
Professional. I know the entire marketing point was 'for teh lulz' and that doesn't end here. It just gets more.. complex, so to say. It's almost been a full year since we've been 'luling' around with everything, but I figure that with the new code/functionality, I'm going to be compelled to go with a tad more professional look. Not minimalistic like the current one, a full fluid layout with ample space for all the new features that are going to be introduced. Of course I'll discuss more on this with the designer I end up choosing.

Conclusion?
I'm not necessarily going to pick someone from WJ. It depends entirely on who's work I end up liking. And for that matter, I'm researching/looking into designers from quite a few places - not just WJ. Having said that, this will be a multi page design, so I've obviously got a nice budget for it, too. I'm not going to pay peanuts for this, so expect this to be something that'll pay well and be professional throughout.

Having said all of that, I just have a few rules:
- Do not PM me anything regarding this. Whatever your questions/concerns/doubts are, should be put in this thread. If none, just post your portfolio.
- If you have nothing good to contribute to this thread, that serves my OP, don't post. Off topic replies will be binned, and I will hand out infractions on repeat offenses.

Like I mentioned in my OP, I have to. The new code/features are not going to fit in with the current layout. Don't worry, the new look/functionality will kick ass - more than it does now.

Hi Lifetalk,
Do you have a colour scheme you are wanting the website to be based on? and also if you have a liking to xxx website style could you possibly PM me? it don't have to be a website you want it to look like, just want to try and get a rough feel to it :)

Thanks.
