I am looking to get a new design done for my new site wadio.org the job will consist of the new background and header image and also logo. i dont have a ton of funds to spend but maybe we can agree on a price.

Hmm.. are you sure you wanna get rid of your header?
It looks very good, you just need to tweak it a little, basically cutting the height a bit, add a new logo at the left and work on those categories icons.
If you want to replace it by some heavy banner all photoshoped, in my opinion you'd be harming your project's personality.

There's nothing wrong with simplicity, specially now, since that's the trend.
Less is more.

Anyway, you can count on me.
