Heya guys,

Im looking for SEO tips for litewarez.

i know a fair but but2 minds are better than one and any tips you can give me i would appreciate!

Even if there general SEO tips id liek to hear them all !


Things i want to achieve:
PR2
Faster indexing
Alexa increase

i know it takes time but looking for things i can keep in track while running the site!

explain further, you mean backlinking sites make sure they dont have rel="nofollow".. if so then i dont think this is an issue because google are dropping it!

i currently run within my javascript framework an import of the alexa modules to so i can have the same effect without the widget !

And thanks for that info will look further into the PR issues

what 3 star site is using that for starters, thanks for this!

also dont quote me on this but i thought it was the PR there dropping from the toolbar but keeping it as a factor in the calculations of sites ! as i say, thanks for info will relook up this soon!
 
They are only dropping it from the toolbar, they are not scrapping Page Rank altogether.

Gill, you do know that having the nofollow will tell Google not to follow that link?
Hence people will not want to link exchange with you.
So you will be getting the juice from the other site's link,. but you aren't giving back.
 
Yeah actually lite, litewarez.net shows a blank index at the moment. Sure its a mistake or something, but Im just notifying you. ;)

Just have around 500-600 People with you.And submit topics to digg.com with any targeted keywords.
Or there are many programs coded till now which can generate users on digg and can digg your topics too.
This is the best and the easiest way i know.
Otherwise Article submission.Bookmarking, Video Linking, and all.
I will suggest you to hire a expert.They take around $150 and you will get the desired results for any number of keywords.
I can elaborate on Article submission.Bookmarking, Video Linking, and all.But tell you one thing it takes lot of time.
And by hiring expert you can get results in a month or so.
 
DO NOT HIRE AN EXPERT!!!

It usually takes ages to generate good Google traffic. A lot of SEO people offering services (not all) use BlackHat techniques to quickly get you some traffic so you'll pay them. This traffic doesn't usually last and is a false positive. BlackHat Techniques are illegal and you can very easily get baned by Google. Google has no problem banning sites and has baned big corporate sites such as the car manufacture BMW in the past. If you get banned it can take months, sometimes years to get unbanned. DO NOT USE ILLEGAL TECHNIQUES.

Basically their are two types of SEO. Onsite and Offsite.
Offsite is more important but you have less control over. Basically it's links to your site but it's more advanced than that.
Onsite isn't as important but you have far more control over it. This is stuff like Page Titles, dynamic meta tags, page layouts and content, position of links on site, url's, keyword targeting etc.
I've studied it a bit and I'll do a free SEO report on your site when it's up and running again with pointers on how to improve it.
 
what type of black hat techniques are you referring to exactly?

I have been reading different stuff and dont want to go down the wrong path.
 
Obviously there are people who only use White Hat techniques like Article submission, Link Building and all.
Easiest way i know is to buy a package of Angella and Paul Backlinks.
This was started by these guys only and they contain all PR 5 + sites.
100 backlinks on these sites can do wonder for you.
There are some methods also to find these sites.
And also i havnt seen your site in dmoz directory.
Submit your site in directories too,this really helps.
