ndiswrapper was already included in the latest 0.0.3 snapshot :p. But it's the 1st time I hear of swiftfox. Is that a fork of the FF source? I'll look it to it.
@Dean, reboot your PC with the CD/DVD in your drive. It should boot the CD instead of your harddrive. If it doesn't let me know.
Once booted, logout. That will take you to the login screen. Choose login as other user, as name type "root", password is "linux". See if it gets auto-mounted as root. There are some policies that are not yet fine tuned for non-root accounts.
Oh I think I know what the problem is. It might be because of Windows as the error states. I've had this issue before, in simple terms Windows is not allowing you to use this device. You might be able to mount it if you unplug/uninstall it in Windows before booting LiveW. If you try that do it as root again. Windows can be a bitch when it comes to harddrives. They clearly love Linux, lol.
Not uninstall Windows lol, uninstall the harddrive in Windows. Boot windows with the harddrive plugged in, click on the safely remove icon in the taskbar, unplug the harddrive, reboot into livew, plug the harddrive back in.
Lmfao alryt thanks Deigo.. Is there any risk of losing the documents on the HD when i remove it from windows? I got alot of work/movie/tunes on it and don't want to lose it.
