I'm sick and tirred of Windows, I should have done this long time ago. I decided to switch on Linux but not just for test run like forever. I don't play games only for designing, coding. So my question is: Which Linux distribution or w.e to use for start and why (explain if possible)?

Ubuntu, Mandriva, openSuse, Fedora etc. etc.?

Thank you!

Debian is good for desktop along with Gnome or KDE.
Ubuntu is meh, never liked it tbh.
Other good distros for desktop systems are Fedora, OpenSUSE and LiveW :o

Centos is GREAT - its very user friendly (for me, dont know about any 1 else) and you will get used to command line interface to do some quick "cool" work too :P

Oh well - it has to be centos for me :)

regards,
Ryan
