I bought a WHMCS LifeTime license about a year ago. About 5 months ago I gave it to a friend but he's hosting company failed and doesn't want to use it anymore.

"Web Host Free License" licenses are the licenses that a host gives out as a value added service, they're tied to a specific host in a specific datacenter. They cannot be moved from that host's network. Either that, or you're a reseller of monthly licenses yourself.

Those are not lifetime licenses.

yes they are lifetime. and no it wasn't free. When I bought it I had to pay extra for my friend's host. Not exactly the WHMCS price but it surely wasn't free. My host get's it free but I had to pay it for it. Then they transferred it to my account
