Hi,

I'm glad to announce that KnownSRV is now able to offer KVM virtual servers. The price for KVM is additional $5/month on the top of normal VPS(OpenVZ) price.

We beta-tested our KVM systems in the last few months and it's now fully ready for public offerings. If you are interested to order, please open a ticket to arrange it. We will add it to our official web-site and billing system in the next few days.

Hey guys,

Just want to write a little review about knownsrv. So I was looking for a new host to move my 2 sites and I saw this thread, read a lot of good reviews, so I decided to give knownsrv a try. I'm very picky when it comes to support, I guess I'm not very tech savvy so that is why I'm worried. Before ordering I talked to their live chat and they answered all my questions promptly. Their staff is very knowledgable and friendly, I ended up ordering their V4 vps.

My vps was setup in 15mins and they even did the migration for me and that took 10mins!!! The transition was seamless and their vps is very fast. I can tell you their support is 10/10. If you are like me and need fast support, I would definitely recommend knownsrv for your hosting solutions.

On KnownSRV my forum is the third year - until then changed ten different servers and all very bad

Opened up a support ticket, Hopefully these guys are what i'm looking for
(VPS, Seedbox, Tor exit node, Forums, Secure email server, and a secure personal file backup storage)
 
I had an issue that came up over the weekend and I didn't expect KnownSRV to be able to do anything about it, but they did and proved to me that they've really got their customers' backs...

We have zero tolerance towards spam and any kind of marketing emails that don't use email lists where recipients willingly opted-in themselves. cPanel license costs additional $16/month.

Hi there,

after using them for now 7 month, i like to write some little review.

Well, let's start at the beginning.
i was searching for a VPS with 2 IPs and some decent traffic-rate here in the forums.
Knownserver made an offer and i willingly accepted it - thanks for this.
Right after setting up the server, we had our first problem. The VPS wasn't reachable anymore due to an DDoS on the Infrastructure.
The opened ticket wasn't answered fast, but in a way you can tolerate it.
As soon as the ddos was stopped, the system went online again and worked so far without any big problems.
Until ... the next DDOS.
Here the ticket-answering was faster (if i remember right, about 1hour - which is okay, since i think they got many tickes because of the DDOS)
I know, that Knownserver proralby can't do much against this ddos, so i'm not really mad - this could have happened on every other hoster as well.

After we have left the bumpy start-phase, we got in a nice working phase.
Up until know the online offline-time i got, was some reboots i triggered. No unexpected downtimes or network issues apperead - all is fine.
The ticket-Answering was getting faster (okay, i've only opened a single one - but hey, that's the way i see it.
The only thing, that's a little bit annony is probalby on my side. My Spamfilter rigorous filters out the payment reminders - and i'm too lazy to fix this :)

Yes, you could get cheaper VPS, if you want, but the price is absolutely fair - and remember people: you get what you pay for.
I would absolutely recommend them to anyone searching for a good and stable provider
