Kloxo: namecheap + dns

Hello guys!

I need your help badly. I do need to setup DNSs. I haven't used VPS yet, so it was always easy to do. If I add new DNS template in kloxo admin panel, everything seems fine, but when I want to transfer DNS from namecheap it says:

Unable to Update Nameservers
We encountered some issues when setting nameservers. The reported problem is: nRRPResponseCode 541 Nameserver ns1.zfvu.com cannot be registered.

Please help me out to fix that problem. If it is possible, I would really really appreciate step by step tutorial.

Did everything like you showed me Jason, namecheap said dns was changed successfully, but my site is offline - internal 500 problem. Is it takes some time that it starts to work like it should? Or when you create new dns template in kloxo it's instantly ready to use?
 
It depends on your ISP, how often it updates name servers. Try to access your site via some proxy, e.g. HideMyAss.com, LinkDetour.net, ZendProxy.com , etc. If it works, you just have to wait for the update to happen.

DNS can update in max 24/48 hours. So, yeah... You need to wait a little.
 
Quick tutorial for users, who will have the same problems as I had:

KLOXO:
1. create new dns template (title: root / ns1.yourdomain.com / ns2.yourdomain.com)
2. add your domain (domain: yourdomain.com / directory: yourdomain)
3. reboot server
4. setup ipaddress that admin has rights and your domain name (exclusive client: admin / configure domain: yourdomain.com)
5. reboot server

NAMECHEAP:
1. Nameserver Registration: ns1.yourdomain.com & ns2.yourdomain.com / type IP address of your server / click Add Nameservers
2. Domain Name Server Setup: ns1.yourdomain.com / ns2.yourdomain.com

PREVIEW:
1. Use online proxies as http://www.hidemyass.com/ for example.
