You got your money back. Why do you want the guy banned? Unless you have a personal feud against him, you should just get the fuck outta this thread instead of creating more drama.

2 points here:

- When you buy hosting for $10, it is your responsibility to take backups. If you lose your site worth $150 or $1.5 million because you didn't take backups, it is your fault. If you want your host taking backups, pay more.

- You can get a refund, or you can get the guy banned for scamming. Since he refunded you (or his friend/partner did it in his stead), he no longer is a scammer. And so, there no longer is a case to ban him.

I would have locked this thread, but I'll leave that up to Jason.

Whether DLow's lying about losing stuff in his life is or not, that's not for me to decide. However, here's one thing I have to say:

The end result of this dispute does not have to end with placing a ban on DLow. It can pretty much end well now, since the OP got refunded. And DLow can be disallowed to post any more server management/security offers/services. It should end there. A ban is too harsh for someone who has had a history of helping out people on this forum.

Closing Notes:
I don't know DLow. He's not my friend. At one point, I hated him for reasons known only to me. But since then, I've become impartial. So before you go about telling me how I'm his friend and therefore shielding a scammer (he's not, as made obvious in this thread), please consider my closing notes.

IT was a managed Service and he was responsible for backups and he also had them till last week

@OT - Well I complained about Dlow's service 2 times, 1st - 7 months ago and 2nd - about a month ago. But it fell on deaf ears as I dont make much fuss about 30 odd dollars and old mods deleted my and many other posts to cover up their friends. This ofc doesn't happen anymore since the mods have changed since that time and currently we have an excellent bunch of staff !

I hope, some action is taken this time.

Thanks for replying. As we already know, Forgiven (DLow's friend) refunded EnCiPh3r, and EnCiPh3r is ok with the refund.

Apparently, DLow has a lot of problems in real life, (unfortunately we can't know that for sure, but I doubt anyone would lie about losing wife and kids) if you want to get a refund for the payment you made, we can wait for DLow to reply.

Anyway, as Lifetalk said I hope we can solve this without having to ban DLow. He has been a member here for long time, and he's going through a lot of shit. Normally, I wouldn't believe anyone on the Internet when it comes to such things, but hey we have to act like people sometimes...

Jason, forgiven refunded enciph3r because he knows i do not have any cash and if everyone honestly must know what happened

and yes me and my wife did separate last friday i bought her a cell phone the night before friday morning she woke up went through my address book and saw numbers of ex girl friends if every one must know -_- so we got into it and she took the twins cleared my bank account and left.


then my dad kicked me out because he thought i was abusing her ?

so dunno what else you guys want this entire thread is non-sense. something that was obviously being resolved in private messages

Oh and wait it gets better im going to provide proof that i bought phones on the 19th the night before my wife left me too

i mean i provided what was needed what else do you want ? i emailed servedome as i said you were refunded so what gives ? if you guys actually think i need banned as "cooperative as i have been" then go head but if anyone has an actual brain well you can figure it out for your self

Why do people jiz over $10, I respect DLow that much, if he promised a refund (if he did) he will do it, nuff said. Besides everyone he hasn't been online due to a not having a computer.

silent hunder got half of what he paid for links on imgcafe (which took time because i could not figure out how to add them) and then on dexozoft a template on the primary theme v1 would not save and it took a week or so to figure it out (server error)

and dj euro that was so long ago i dont even remember that honestly


and how did i scam dj euro ? :s i just read all through out that thread i dont even remember ever seeing that thread

And hunter yes we had issues and during the last issue which was optimizing your server you were hacked and the process was not finished.
 
But anyways im done with this thread you kiddos go ahead and keep bumping it i was advised to quit posted before i get ahead of my self and im going to take that advice
