Issues with DLow - Solved

i dont think the money is the problem dlow ;)
read he said backups and the 150 site stuff
so i think hes mainly pissed that he doensn't have a backup :|

I told him if he needed backups contact servedome not my fault that i do not work for them anymore

and you know another thing i fucking help everyone out on this god dam forum i always have im sorry if one person has an issue

i mean i have helped everyone on this god dam forum, If it wasnt free hosting or giving them cash or somthing else i mean i dont know ive helped nearly everyone in this thread and it is a god dam shame that 4/6 people in this thread has just gone a long with what the person has said above them

Interesting thread, i´m very sorry for you EnCiPh3r, lost money and lost work is frustrating and sometimes the problem is that hosters managed by newbies are a newbie service, no more no less ........ honestly Servedome fails (as 99,99% of times lol) and Dlow fails.

Patience and try to get your money back at least.
 
I did not want to comment on this thread as i did not feel it involved me,
But as everyone else as and its got so one sided, I would just like to ad my 2 cents ...

I have known DLow for a very long time, Long before i joined WJ.
This makes me lol, There is NO WAY! he would scam for a lousy $10.
 He hosted me free for like past 3/4 years, Im sure if he needed some $ that bad he would ask me.
He has also hosted many of the members here for free.
As for the back up, Yeah, I dont know the story with that so cant really comment but accidents happen, I cant stress how important it is to take regular backups.
I trust DLow 100%, Hosts have come and hosts have gone but DLow has always been there for me but i still take my own regular backups just incase.
I also lost data with the Servedome hack.

@ K3V i never wud have made this thread if i dint contact DLow atleast 50 times but today he abused me so i got pissed it was $25 no1 scams for $25 but point here was he fucked up my websites and doesnt wanna take responsibility
 
I feel your pain bro, I have lost many a site the same way.
I even lost 2 when the Servedome Hacking took place, luckly i had a week old backup of one,
Still pissed i lost a weeks worth of coding/moding.
Im sure DLow will try and do everything he can to recover your data, Just depends if you was one of the lucky ones, I believe some sites stayed up after the hack but i may be wrong.

This is what happend with your site 7 months ago when i Ran WebDen.org we offered a service (Post2Host)

layer3 was having issues people may remember, ( DDoS Attacks) So you were setup on the post2host server by accident which was a master reseller on Servedome i never realized it until you said it was online up until last week which made me think back to around the time you ordered the service this is the only reason of why your site would be on servedome. it was a mistake that i will take responsibility for and i will email ashbeshek or zhang to see what data they can provide me i promise.

And before anyone says anything smart about the post2host program clientele being hosted on a servedome server there was a a rule set which i showed each person whom wanted to participate it p2h how ever with you enciph3r being a paid client as i said above it was a mistake
 
What's wrong with having reseller hosting on a vps,as long as it's not overloaded it's fine.
You spent 10$ on a package which is probably not managed so you are responsible for the backups.
I'm not saying a host can afford it to lose your backups but you should take backups to prevent this and not just trust any host out there.
What I would do in this case is offer the client a month for free for example so he could inform his userbase and maybe recover if possible.

@jason - Damn man, you should really be a detective, in every thread I see some solid uncovering stuff from you xD

@OT - Well I complained about Dlow's service 2 times, 1st - 7 months ago and 2nd - about a month ago. But it fell on deaf ears as I dont make much fuss about 30 odd dollars and old mods deleted my and many other posts to cover up their friends. This ofc doesn't happen anymore since the mods have changed since that time and currently we have an excellent bunch of staff !

I hope, some action is taken this time.
