Is hotfile still paying for downloads

how do you enter your payment info at hotfile? I searched and searched and there is noting where I can put my alertpay account. Any help?
 
no dont use hot file they are suck did not pay i have post on 26/1/ 3 file each file download 10 or more time and in my earning status i see only 1 file count in earning..

Check the affiliate page; you don't get paid for every country.

If it's not in the country list, the download is not counted. They only pay for countries that potential customers can afford to buy premiums.

Come to think of it, I don't see that affiliate button anymore. I too remember you have to enable the Affiliate checkbox before you can start earning money. Could it be they no longer accept new affiliates? Afterall, the MU incident spooked every filehosts out there.
 
strange thing, I registered another account and all options are visible. Just can't see them with my old account, my files are there but no affiliate option? that is really strange.
 
But I didn't even shared any of my files yet, why would they cancel my affiliate program? That is really weird, I was thinking about using hotfile but I don't think they are worth giving a try.

To discourage violations of this policy, Hotfile has always maintained a policy of terminating accounts of users found to be engaged in repeated copyright infringement. Hotfile has made additional changes to this policy to facilitate the identification of repeat infringers and, under appropriate circumstances, the termination of their accounts.

In a complementary move, Hotfile has made changes to its Affiliate Program. Affiliate payments will no longer be based on download volume or referrals from websites. An affiliate will earn a percentage of the price of premium memberships purchased by users who download the affiliate’s uploaded file(s). In line with Hotfile’s Intellectual Property Policy, affiliate accounts subject to a DMCA takedown notification will be suspended and multiple DMCA notifications will result in termination of an affiliate account. For more information regarding these changes to the terms and conditions of the Affiliate Program go to Affiliate Terms and Conditions.

Hotfile uses video fingerprinting technology to block the uploading of files identified as infringing on copyright holders’ rights. Hotfile has recently upgraded its fingerprint technology to vCloud9, the latest, state-of-the-art fingerprint technology provided by Vobile.
