How did you get platinum rank on hotfile?I'm struggling to increase rank :(
 
Yes they pay. Its always Dangerous if ur files gets reported. Everyday when u wake up u have to check if ur account is there or suspended. And u need to make sales to reach platinum.

3 Rules:
1) Generate more premium subscriptions
2) Use less storage space
3) Download more.

If you can get to Gold or Platinum, Hotfile could be more profitable than all these filehosts that offer $30-40 per download. Other filehosts count 1 IP per 24 hours regardless how many files the user downloads. Hotfile on the other hand counts 1 file per IP per 24 hours. So, the more unique files the person downloads, then more profitable you get.

how much time it take you to get Gold or Platinum?
 
but hf is banning accounts without reason especially when someone want's to payout big amoungs >1000$
there was a situation between hf and... media company's? or sth... and then they starts (about a year ago...)
i know people who have there 100% legal files and their accounts was banned without a reson - strange so i left hf.
Also i never liked hostings with ranks!

Oh, hehe, I am not Gold or Platinum. I am Silver now but I get the same number of downloads and make the same amount now at Hotfile at Silver as I was at Uploadstation. And Uploadstation was paying $26/1000 (most of my users were Japan). How much time it took really depends. At one time, my rank jumped from Copper to Platinum in just 1 day. Another time it dropped from Platinum to Bronze also in 1 day. It's ranking system is very puzzling to say the least.

Anyways, I was on Platinum for 3 months but that was 3 years ago. Now I am back to using Hotfile because there's aren't too many good hosts to go to and I'm not really doing it for the money. Hotfile's FTP upload has always been fast.

PS. I need you warn you that Hotfile is not a good place to put copyrighted warez or movies. Hotfile keep a record of all IP addresses that upload or download its files. If shits hit the fan, Hotfile will sell you out to the authorities. Unless of course you reside in China, Russia, India or any other countries that don't give a rat's ass on copyright infringements. :D
