Iphone locked

I found iphone 4s and I was trying to remove the code from the lock screen but without success..

Does anyone know how it can be done? How to remove that code? (I went to a shop today and they told me it would cost 20 euro to remove the code .. )

Any ideas how it can be done?

is it just a screen password lock or operator lock?

Try flashing your phone with the proper firmware this might remove it.

Not sure above will work as I am no expert in Iphones :P

There used to be a bug in the old iOS that would let you access some stuff in a phone.

You need to restore your iphone to remove the passcode, but Check your imei first before restore https://www.icloud.com/activationlock/, if find my iPhone is "ON" don't restore cause you need to login the user and password of the owner after successful restore. You can check the imei or serial number on SIM Tray but not sure if its original or replaced with other sim tray.

If the Find MY iPhone is ON.. check the firmware of that iPhone if IOS 7 is possible to bypass the passcode using IPBOX..

You do need to restore the phone . But activation lock is an issue. So better check it before hand.
